Winter in the mountains - January 2016
Most of the photos are taken in the Beskid Mountains (Beskydy) - Pustevny. The Beskids is a traditional name for a series of mountain ranges in the Carpathians, stretching from the Czech Republic in the west along the border of Poland with Slovakia up to Ukraine in the east. Pustevny is place 1018m above the sea level. That weekend was the coldest since years. At night we experienced -27°C and in the day time “only” -22°C.But luckily the sun was shining and the sky was blue, which helped us out to survive those freezing temperatures. Sort of “re-born” to start the new year.
Enjoy beautiful views and sceneries.
